Indiana to South Dakota, on the Harley of course! Sturgis is my main
vacation and one of the few times I get to ride the Harley. Getting there is half
the fun, maybe more. These are just a few of the sights along this 1200 mile
journey.

Along I-80 in Iowa is the familiar sign, clearly
visible from the interstate, of Zooks Harley-Davidson in Des Moines. But, this year
- no sign! I hear a tornado took it down. After missing my exit, and
turning around, I had a nice visit to this fine Harley dealer. Of course, no trip to
South Dakota would be complete without a stop in Mitchell and the famous Corn Palace!

Along I-90 in South Dakota is the beautiful and rugged Bad Lands.
Of course no trip is complete in this area without a stop at the highly advertised
Wall Drug in Wall. The hundreds of signs along the way just draw any traveler to
this well know landmark.

Traveling home without use of our interstates,
can add a lot of variety and different sights along the way. The speed is a little
more laid back and enjoyable.
